Descrição
This stackable modular shelf is a high-efficiency, space-saving drying system designed specifically for curing and drying aromatic herbs, tea leaves, mushrooms, and dense botanical flowers.
Whether you are harvesting homegrown kitchen herbs or processing premium dense flowers that require delicate humidity control, this stackable tower maximizes vertical space while ensuring pristine air circulation to prevent mold and speed up the drying process uniformly. Designed entirely as a 100% Print-in-Place solution, it requires zero supports and zero hardware.
The 4-Part System
This download includes 4 highly optimized components that work together to create the perfect drying environment:
1. The Stand: The heavy-duty base with integrated feet. It lifts the entire structure off the ground, creating a natural "chimney effect" that pulls fresh air from underneath.
2. The Module: The stackable outer walls that create the vertical space and protect the drying material.
3. The Rack (Slicer-Mesh): The actual tray where the botanicals rest, designed to fit perfectly within the modules.
4. The Lid: A top cover to protect your topmost layer from dust, debris, and direct light exposure.
Key Features
- 100% Print-in-Place & Support-Free: Designed with smart tolerances and optimized overhangs, every single part prints flawlessly without the need for support structures. Just print, remove from the build plate, and stack!
- Fully Modular & Stackable: Print as many Modules and Racks as your harvest requires. The secure interlocking male/female rims ensure the tower remains perfectly stable even when fully loaded.
- Slicer-Optimized Mesh (No CAD Holes Needed): The Rack component is designed to be printed using your slicer's infill pattern as the breathable mesh screen. This dramatically reduces print time, saves filament, and creates a perfectly flat surface that won't damage delicate leaves.
- Zero-Contact Space: Generous vertical clearance between layers ensures that your dense flowers or large leaves have plenty of room to dry without touching the rack above them.
3D Printing Settings & "Slicer Hack" Instructions (For the Rack)
Note: If you use the provided Print Profile, these settings are already applied!
To achieve the perfect breathable mesh floor for the Rack component without printing solid plastic, these are the key slicer adjustments:
- Material: PETG is highly recommended for its moisture resistance and neutral odor profile. PLA also works perfectly.
- Top Surface Layers: 0
- Bottom Surface Layers: 0
- Wall Loops / Perimeters: 3 or 4 (to keep the outer frame rock-solid).
- Infill Density: 25% (Adjust to your liking; higher density means a tighter mesh for smaller leaves).
- Infill Pattern: Gyroid, Honeycomb, or Grid work best. Gyroid is recommended for multidirectional airflow.
- Supports: None. (0% support required for all 4 parts).
Happy printing and happy harvesting!
