Kumiko Coaster & Storage - Customizable

What's included

Each design has its own script - select the one you want, set the size, export.

Sizes

The script value is the inner (pattern) diameter. The border adds 3mm per side (6mm total), so the coaster's overall size is that + 6mm. Pick by overall size, that's the footprint on your table.

Ready profiles (6)

Two versions per size, each a variety set of all 6 patterns + the storage holder.

• Plate layout (Coaster profile): pattern plates (6 inserts) + base plates (6 bases) + Storage : print all plates, then press each pattern into its base. 
• Decorative profile: the open-lattice plates + Storage.
• Two colors, no AMS: print the pattern inserts in one filament and the bases in another. Done.
• Ready profiles are the round shape. Hexagon and Squared are coming in a later update (but is already available now via the script).

Custom size (optional)

• Open the Fusion scripts, set the inner diameter (60–150mm), download
• Storage: set the same inner diameter as your coasters + how many to store (4–20); tolerance is handled for you

Assembly (Coaster version)

The coaster prints in two parts: a base and a pattern insert. Once both are off the plate, press the pattern into the base: it's a press-fit, no glue needed. Print the two parts in different filaments for a clean two-tone (no AMS required).

The included colors are just a starting point - recolor however you like. I'd be glad if you shared your combinations, it can inspire other makers.

Material & print settings

• No supports, no brim needed
• 0.2mm layers
• Ironing: the patterns and decoratives have ironing enabled on the top surface for a smooth finish; the coaster bases do not need it (and it's left off to save time). The ready profiles are already set up this way; keep it if you regenerate.
• PLA/PLA+ is fine for cold drinks. Use PETG if you'll set hot mugs on them - PLA can soften and mark.
• ~6mm rim, 3mm base
