1 or 2 level lantern: 

• 1st level: grid with magnet or cubic flat cover
• 2nd: cubic flat cover or just the grid lid

Print profile

• Material: shell in black PLA or PETG (matte recommended), diffuser panels in white or natural translucent PLA
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Walls: 3
• Top/bottom layers: 4
• Infill: 10 to 15 percent
• Supports: none (orient grid faces vertical; print the top grid flat)
• Diffuser thickness: keep panels thin (1.5 to 2 mm) so light passes

Assembly

1. Print shell + base + 4 grid sides + top grid + diffuser panels
2. Press the diffuser panels behind each grid face
3. Put magnet on side grid and lantern skeleton.
4. Feed the LED cable through the base holes (3x, around 4 mm)
5. Seat a USB LED puck or low watt bulb inside, route cord out the base
