Summary:

A way to reduce a hole to a smaller size while allowing a non-stripped cable to still pass through.

Model Description:

The idea is simply to use this model to be able to pass various cables through holes while minimizing the space between the cable and the hole. This can be useful in custom printer enclosures for example but can of course also be used in other DIY constructions.

In the pictures, this model is used in conjunction with my previous Fabric Hole Ring model, which allows you to create a hard edge around a hole in a fabric. Using both models allows you to even use this model on flexible/fabric/soft (tent-like) custom printer enclosures to allow the power cable to pass through the wall while minimizing heat loss by reducing the effective hole size.

The fusion file is provided would you want to edit the parameters, see how it's done or simply edit the model easily. I also joint a file adjusted to be a simple screw-on hole plug

Printing information:

• All the parts come in the right position for printing.
• I recommend printing this model in a bit more heat-resistant filament like petg (or ASA) if you use it in an enclosure, for example.
