Here is a LED light display that provides limitless possibilities to display a variety of scenes. The snap fit rear cover is easily removed. After that remove the snap ring holding the scene in place, drop in your new scene, snap it all together and light it up. Each scene is keyed such that orientation is always correct. Profiles for two scenes are included here (bee and butterfly). For more scenes you can choose from scenes that I make and post on MakerWorld, easily make your own scenes, or find those made by the community. 

To make your own scene just size it to 150.0mm diameter by 1.0mm thick; then place it face down on the prepared plate, into the center of the keying ring. See the .pdf document attached below for how to make your own scene using MakerLab “Image to Keychain” tool.

NOTES: Please Read

1.) For the main frame accent color, I chose brown. This accent is  a separate object, so you can use whatever color you want for it.

2.) To provide a reflective surface for the light, the “Back” has a filament color change at layer 6 from black to white. I use a white silk filament for the reflection, but I'm sure any white would work.

3.) To delineate the top verses bottom, the “Snap Ring” has a filament color change at layer 21 from black to white.

4.) If you want the keying ring to place around your own 150mm diameter x 1mm thick scene, you will find it under the raw model files “Keying Ring.stl”
