This adds a screwable base to the wind vane instead of the side mount. To assemble, use a m4 screw or something similar to screw the base down.

Then screw on the plug, followed by the rod, then the rest of the pieces. The cap may need to be glued to the rod.

I used petg since it's outdoors, but other similar materials should be fine.
