Model Description

A magnetic mounting bracket designed for a common Zigbee 3.0 Temperature & Humidity Sensor available from AliExpress. The holder allows quick and secure installation on metal surfaces using neodymium magnets, while also supporting direct screw mounting to a fixed surface if preferred.

The magnets are attached using screws threaded into M3 heat-set inserts. The design securely holds the sensor while allowing easy removal for battery replacement or maintenance.

Required Hardware

• 2× M3 heat-set inserts
• 2× M3 screws
• 2× magnets with mounting holes

Recommended Magnets

I used 25 × 2 mm neodymium magnets with a center mounting hole. Similar magnets can be used, with a recommended maximum diameter of 25 mm.

Important Notes

• Maximum screw thread engagement depth is 6 mm.
• Using longer screws may damage the holder.
• The model can also be mounted directly to a wall, cabinet, or other fixed surface without magnets.
