After spending many years in the oil & gas industry, I've worked with equipment that requires permanent identification and traceability. Almost everything sent offshore or around the world needs a serial number, equipment number, or some form of permanent marking.

To achieve this, letter and number punch stamps are used daily to create clear and durable ID markings.
 

One thing that has always frustrated me is the storage solution that comes with most punch stamp sets. After repeated hammer strikes, the tops of the stamps gradually deform, making them difficult—or sometimes impossible—to fit back into the original case. Eventually, the stamps end up stored upside down, making it difficult to identify the correct character without picking up and checking several stamps first.

After years of dealing with this, I decided to design a better solution.

Designed for Real-World Workshop Use

This angled Gridfinity rack keeps every punch stamp visible, organized, and easily accessible.

The angled layout allows you to quickly identify letters and numbers without removing them from the holder, saving time and frustration during use.
 

The storage slots have been intentionally designed with additional clearance to accommodate stamps that have become slightly deformed after years of use while still keeping them securely organized.
 

The rack also features integrated side handles, making it easy to lift in and out of tool drawers, tool carts, and Gridfinity setups.
