PRINT DETAILS:

I used Gold, Black, and Brown PLA for this project, however you are free to experiment with these colors to your liking!

     HOW TO CUSTOMIZE NAMEPLATE: 

I added preset STL nameplates if you don't want to customize them yourself. If you do download the STL, go to bambu lab software and import it on there. Make sure the base and letters/top surface are two different colors 

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING A 0.2 MM NOZZLE FOR THE BEST PRINT QUALITY (this is what I used in the images), HOWEVER 0.4 MM NOZZLE WORKS WELL TOO

#1: Download the 3mf and head to the trophy nameplate.

#2: Click on the blank nameplate so it is highlighted and click on the text feature on top. This will pop up a text box right on top of the nameplate and options to customize your nameplate.

#3: Customize the text on your nameplate however you like by changing the input text, font size, font, thickness, etc. I used ARIAL BLACK for my font and used a thickness of 1.0, however the size of the font will vary depending on how many words you can fit in. If you have a lot of words on your nameplate, it is best to make the font size smaller (like 3.5) so there will be better print quality, but you can make the font size bigger if you have fewer words. Here is an example: 

#4: In order to move the text to your liking, click the MOVE function on the toolbar and move the green arrow to wherever you would like your first line to be. 

#5: If you want to make another line, go to objects on the left side panel and click on "text_shape" so it is highlighted. Copy and paste it (ctrl c + ctrl v), and then click on the MOVE function on the toolbar and move the green arrow to show the second line. Repeat this again if you want a 3rd line as well. 

If you closed out of the edit text options and want to edit the text again, right click on “text_shape” shown above and click “Edit text”.

#6: Once you're done editing your text and finalized the lines, you're ready to print the nameplate! :)

     TROPHY + TROPHY BASE:

The trophy is easy to print and uses a modifier to strengthen the stem of the trophy. Two easy to break off tree supports are required on the side for the best print quality of the trophy. 

The trophy articulated base is easy to print as well and only requires easy to break tree supports for the nameplate to fit in. 

ONCE ALL PARTS ARE PRINTED, USE SUPERGLUE TO SNAP IN THE TROPHY AND THE NAMEPLATE ON TO THE ARTICULATED BASE
