Heavy-Duty Customizable Bit Case (Milwaukee & DeWalt Styled)

This is a rugged, parametric bit case designed to keep your screwdriver bits organized, secure, and easily accessible. Inspired by heavy-duty tool aesthetics, it features a robust hinge, solid latches, and an optional magnetic retention system that holds every single bit firmly in place—even if the box is turned upside down.

Perfect for workshops, toolboxes, or on-the-go jobs.

🛠️ Hardware Required (BOM)

To assemble the full version, you will need:

  • 6x M4x30mm Screws (DIN 7984 / Low-profile socket head)
  • 6x M4 Nuts
  • 50x Neodymium Magnets (6x2 mm)

🖨️ Print Profiles Available

  1. Magnetic Version (Ultimate Retention): Features precise pockets for 50 neodymium magnets (6x2 mm) placed directly underneath the bit slots to keep everything perfectly secured.
  2. No-Magnet Version (Standard): A clean, straightforward profile that doesn't require any magnets. The precision-fit slots hold the bits naturally without extra hardware.

💡 Print Settings & Tips

  • Material: PETG or tough PLA for the latches and casing to ensure durability.
  • Infill: 15-20% Gyroid for optimal strength.
  • Walls: 3 wall loops for solid perimeter durability.
  • Magnet Assembly: A tiny drop of CA glue (superglue) in each slot helps secure the 6x2 mm magnets permanently.
