Hello All,

This device is typically used for kitchen drawers in drawer-within-a-drawer designs. It secures the upper drawer so that when the main drawer is opened, the upper drawer is pulled out along with it. This version is designed for use with drawer side panels that are 10–15 mm thick.

I designed it myself, inspired by the original. I have been using it for a month now, and it performs exactly as expected.

It consists of three parts. The housing, the switch mechanism and the spring. The housing and the switch mechanism can be printed together in one single print. The spring should be printed separately, using settings that maximize its flexibility property of the material. I used black generic PETG Filament.

For the spring, I used the following PETG print settings:

• 0.20 mm layer height
• 245-250°C nozzle temperature (depending on your PETG or other filament) 
• 10–20% fan speed
• 10–15% gyroid infill
• 2–3 wall loops (perimeters)

The remaining parts can be printed using your preferred settings or your standard print settings.

The parts should be assembled as follows:

1. Press the spring into the switch mechanism, as shown in the last photo.
2. Insert the switch mechanism, including the spring, into the housing.
