Open MIDI Stomper – DIY MIDI Footswitch

This USB MIDI footswitch enclosure is designed for the OpenMidiStomper project, providing a compact and reliable solution for controlling MIDI-enabled devices with your feet. Whether you're a guitarist, keyboard player, live performer, or studio musician, this DIY controller makes hands-free MIDI control simple and accessible.

The enclosure is optimized for 3D printing and accommodates the hardware required by the OpenMidiStomper project, offering a clean and professional build suitable for both stage and studio use. Also it requires soldering skills, but you don't need to be an expert. ;)

Required Hardware

1x Arduino Pro Micro 

1x 6.3mm Jack

8x Momentary Foodswitches

8x LED Flathead 5mm width 

8x 1KΩ Resistors  (i used 1kΩ because the led were to bright for my liking)

5x m3 Threaded Insert

Superglue for the LEDs

Cables 

Soldering Iron
