After designing my first toy coffee machine, I wanted to create a version with even more interactive features.

This toy coffee machine includes a functional coffee pad system, three pressable buttons, and a clickable rotary selector knob. Coffee pads are inserted from the top and transported through the machine by the rotating brew unit. After passing through the machine, they drop into the integrated “coffee grounds container” at the back, just like on a real coffee machine.

Hardware

The model requires one 608 bearing. However, a printed 608 bearing works perfectly fine, making the machine effectively 100% printable.

The three required springs are available as a separate profile. They are the same as the one from my Toy Camera V1.

Assembly

Unfortunately, I haven’t had time to create a proper assembly guide yet.

To make assembly easier, I uploaded the fully assembled model as a separate profile. By viewing the object tree, you can easily see where each individual component belongs.

Depending on whether you install one or two of the small spring pins, the rotary knob will feel lighter or stiffer. I personally use only one spring in my own model, which already provides a satisfying click feeling.
