SAGOMA Box Generator

SAGOMA is a parametric generator for creating custom-shaped boxes, trays, and inserts based on the outline of an object.

You can use it for tools, accessories, electronic components, models, measuring instruments, spare parts, or any object that doesn't have a suitable container.

The model can generate:
* a box with a contoured inner wall, lightweight and material-efficient;
* a negative insert, more enveloping and stable;
* an optional lid, printed next to the box.

How to Use
1. Prepare a `default.svg` file with the outline of your object.
2. Open the model on MakerWorld and click **Customize**.
3. Upload the SVG file into the customizer, after setting the Source parameter to "Uploaded SVG File," and finally press Generate.
4. Set the actual width of the object in millimeters.
5. Choose the mode: box or negative insert.

6. Adjust the dimensions, clearance, wall height, openings, and lid settings.
7. Download the template and print it.

Available Modes
1. Box with Contoured Wall
Creates an outer box with an inner wall that follows the contour of the object. This is the recommended mode to save material.
2. Negative Insertion
Creates a contoured block around the object. Useful when you want a more stable and enveloping seat.

Tips
* Use simple SVG files with a single closed contour.
* For highly detailed objects, increase the contour simplification.
* If the object is too tight, increase the clearance.
* If the lid is too tight, increase the lid clearance by 0.05-0.10 mm.

Recommended print settings
* PLA or PETG
* 2-3 perimeters
* Infill 15-20%
* Layer height 0.20 mm
* Supports are generally not required
