Print Profile Information

This profile is optimized for clean, smooth sign surfaces with raised text and ironing enabled on the top surface.

Features

• No supports required
• No brim required
• Print as oriented
• Ironing enabled for improved top surface finish
• Manual filament swap pause already configured in the profile
• AMS not required

Multi-Color Printing (Without AMS)

A pause for filament change has already been added to this profile.

Simply:

1. Start the print.
2. Wait for the printer to pause automatically.
3. Replace the filament with your second color.
4. Purge until the new color is completely clean.
5. Resume the print.

No AMS is required.

Ironing

Ironing is enabled to improve the appearance of the top surface and reduce visible top layer lines.

Please note that ironing performance varies between:

• Printers
• Filaments
• Colors
• Nozzle condition
• Environmental conditions

The ironing settings included in this profile work well on my machine but may require adjustment on yours.

For best results, consider calibrating:

• Ironing Flow
• Ironing Speed
• Ironing Line Spacing

If your top surface does not look like the photos, ironing calibration should be the first thing to check.

Important

If you modify:

• Layer height
• Model height
• Text height
• Number of top layers

please verify that the filament change pause still occurs at the correct layer.

Recommended Materials

• PLA
• PLA+
• Silk PLA

Silk filaments may require different temperatures and may respond differently to ironing compared to standard PLA.
