This is probably the closest 3D-printed equivalent to a commercial zipper you can find right now. 

The zipper head is printed in PLA. 

The main zipper body is available in two material versions:

• TPU for AMS: Higher toughness and more durable.
• PLA: Easier to print with lower friction.

Installation: Insert the two zipper tracks into the split end of the slider, align the exposed tail ends, and pull them through so they come out interlocked.

Break-in Period: The first few pulls might feel a bit stiff, but it will quickly become smooth. Sometimes, excessive wear on the slider can cause the zipper to stop interlocking tightly. If this happens, you just need to print a new slider.

Overall, the model is sensitive to dimensional tolerances. Adjusting the XY contour compensation (usually within ±0.1) can often resolve these issues.
