## Description


 

This parametric divider bin is designed for MakerWorld's OpenSCAD customizer and everyday Gridfinity-style storage. Set the bin footprint in 42 mm grid units, choose the height in 7 mm units, and adjust the internal compartment grid for small tools, hardware, bits, desk items, and workshop parts.


 

The model prioritizes reliable, fast generation over perfect full-spec replication. It includes a slightly undersized footprint for clearance, a repeated per-cell underside foot grid, an open top, divider walls that stop below the rim, and an optional front label tab with shallow engraved text.


 

This first version intentionally does not include magnet holes, screw holes, scoop ramps, stacking lips, multicolor parts, or decorative details.


 

## Customization Notes


 

- `grid_x`, `grid_y`, and `height_units` control the main bin size.

- Compartment counts are internally capped to 3 compartments per grid unit in each direction for performance and printability.

- Large stress configurations automatically use square corners to keep MakerWorld generation practical.

- Disable label text if you need the fastest possible generation or want to add labels in the slicer.

- The underside uses one stepped foot per 42 mm cell so it can sit into a matching Gridfinity base grid.

- This is Gridfinity-compatible/simple, not a validated full-spec Gridfinity clone.
