This project started in a pretty unexpected way.

Someone asked if I could make a version of my Frog on a Log Planter that had a bird living in it. The more I thought about it, the more I realized... why stop at a bird decoration when I could build an actual bird house? 

So instead of putting a bird in a planter, I designed a functional Tree Trunk Bird House that looks natural while keeping bird health and nest maintenance front and center. My friend was super confused but she's used to my madness 🤣🤣🤣

Please ignore the black prints, I engineered myself all the way out of brown filament!

🐦 Bird house easily slides off the mount for cleaning and maintenance

The goal was to create something that looks great in the garden while also being practical for both birds and the humans caring for them.
