Cobra Commander Has Entered the Battlefield

The infamous Cobra Commander has arrived on MakerWorld in a fully multicolor format, ready to take command of your display shelf. Featuring detailed armor, iconic Cobra emblems, and his signature flowing cape, this version captures the classic look while taking full advantage of multicolor 3D printing.

Recommended Print Notes

• Layer Height: 0.16–0.20 mm

• Walls: 3 recommended (matches the internal design)

• Infill: 10–15% is typically sufficient

• Supports: Required and included

• AMS Friendly: Designed for multicolor printing

⚠️ A Quick Note About Supports

As with any 3D print that contains floating regions, bed adhesion is critical for a successful print.

To improve reliability, I manually added extra support structures beneath the cape and hands to help stabilize these sections during printing. These areas spend part of the print suspended above the build plate, so a clean build surface and strong first-layer adhesion are especially important.

The good news? The supports are designed to remove easily after printing while still providing the extra stability needed where it matters most.

If your printer has been behaving a little too much like a Cobra Trooper lately, this is probably a good time to wash that build plate.
