MCBS - Modular ChessBoard System is a modular chessboard platform designed to combine precision, flexibility, and custom aesthetics in a single build. The system was created around a magnetic base board that allows different tile configurations, making it easy to prototype, customize, and upgrade individual sections without redesigning the entire board.

The concept focuses on a clean mechanical structure with interchangeable tiles, giving the board a premium feel while keeping it practical for modular assembly. Its design is intended for makers, chess enthusiasts, and fabrication workflows, where the goal is to build a chessboard system that is both functional and visually distinctive.

The board is also designed to work with my new modular frame system or “Framefinity”, wich holds the board in place and allows for infinite customisation while also keeping the convenience of the magnetic assembly.

All the system is based on 6x3mm round magnets, wich also allows you to magnetise your chess pieces to the board with the same magnet that holds the tile in place. If you don't want to use magnets, I've also included a 6x3mm rounded peg to replace them but keep everything connected (this has not been tested but should work).

You're free to take the raw files and redesign whatever you want (for example make tiles with textures or whatever you want) as long as you give the original credits to me, also so we can build an entire ecosystem based on this to create “THE” perfect chess set for everyone

I've spent a lot of effort in this design, getting tolerances right and redesigning any flaw I encountered, so I'll appreciate any positive comments and also constructive critics that you can give me.
