Tired of your indoor training setup taking over your entire living room or training space? This project replaces your front wheel with a sleek, heavy-duty, ultra-compact riser block designed to drastically reduce the footprint of your indoor smart trainer setup.
Perfect for apartments, tight pain caves, or anyone looking to reclaim floor space!

🛠️ Crucial Printing & Assembly Instructions
To ensure this block can safely support your body weight and withstand handle-bar steering vibrations, please follow these mechanical slice configurations:
1. Material Choice
 

  • DO NOT USE STANDARD PLA. PLA creeps and gets brittle under constant load.
     
  • Recommended Filament: Use PETG, PETG-CF, ABS, or ASA for industrial durability and impact/vibration resistance.
     

2. Structural Slicer Settings
 

  • Wall Loops: Set to at least 6 perimeters (Crucial for vertical shell rigidity).
     
  • Global Infill: 25%–30% Gyroid or Cubic (Do not use Grid).
     
  • Brim: Use a 10mm outer brim to prevent warping on the tall structures.
     

3. Assembly
 

  1. Print the base, the top cap, and the locking dowel pins.
     
  2. Drop a bit of superglue or epoxy into the pin slots and press the halves together.
     
  3. Place your aluminum fork mount on top, mark your holes, pre-drill small pilot holes into the solid plastic block, and secure the mount with heavy-duty wood or metal screws.
     
  4. Mount your fork, clamp your axle, and start riding!
