Descrição
A purpose-built storage solution for your Bambu H2D hotends, designed to fit seamlessly into your Gridfinity workspace. Holds 2 hotends across × 3 deep (6 total slots) per unit — and units stack vertically so you can build the storage as tall as your hotend collection demands without taking up more bench space.
🧱 Stackable Design
Each unit interlocks securely with the one beneath it, so you can scale your storage upward instead of outward:
- Stack as many tiers as you need — 6 hotends per layer, grows with your collection
- Stable, aligned stacking — units register positively to each other so the tower doesn't shift or slide
- Still fully Gridfinity — the base unit drops into your standard Gridfinity baseplate, and the whole stack stays anchored
- Pull the top unit off any time you need fewer slots, or add another when you expand
(This is the corrected, genuinely stackable revision — the previous version was not stackable in practice. This one is.)
✏️ Fully Customizable Text in Bambu Studio
Each hotend slot has editable labels you can change in seconds — no CAD software needed.
How to edit:
- Open the file in Bambu Studio
- Go to Global Edit Text
- Type whatever you want for each label (filament type, nozzle size, color, brand — your call)
- Slice and print
Label your slots however makes sense for your workflow: PLA / PETG / ABS / TPU / PA-CF, or by nozzle diameter (0.2 / 0.4 / 0.6 / 0.8), or by hardened vs. standard — whatever helps you grab the right one fast.
🎯 Why Dedicated Hotends Matter
If you print across multiple filament types, matching your hotend to your material isn't optional — it's the difference between consistent prints and constant troubleshooting.
- Abrasive filaments (carbon fiber, glow-in-the-dark, glass fiber) chew up standard brass nozzles and ruin print quality on subsequent runs of non-abrasive material.
- High-temp filaments (PA, PC, PPS-CF) can leave residue that contaminates lower-temp prints.
- Soft filaments (TPU) print best with a clean, dedicated flow path.
Cross-contamination between materials causes layer adhesion issues, color bleed, clogging, and inconsistent extrusion. A dedicated hotend per material family eliminates 90% of these headaches.
🔄 Built for Fast Swaps
Bambu's tool-free hotend swap is one of the H2D's best features — but it only saves time if you know exactly where your hotends are and what's in each one. This storage unit:
- Keeps every hotend upright, organized, and labeled
- Lets you grab the right one in seconds when changing filament
- Protects the silicone socks and heater blocks from getting knocked around in a drawer
- Sits on your bench in Gridfinity formation — and now stacks upward — right where you need it
📐 Specs
- Footprint: 2×3 Gridfinity (standard 42mm grid)
- Capacity: 4 hotends per unit, unlimited via stacking
- Stackable: Yes — units interlock and register to each other
- Compatible with: Bambu H2D hotends
- Text: Edit in Bambu Studio → Global Edit Text
🖨️ Print Settings
- Recommended material: PLA or PETG
- Supports: Not required
- Infill: 15% is plenty (consider 20%+ if you plan to stack several tiers, for a sturdier base)
- No special settings needed
Stop hunting for the right hotend mid-project. Print it, label it, stack it as high as you need — and never mismatch a nozzle to filament again.
