Game Instructions

Objective

The goal is to clear as many red pegs from the board as possible by jumping over them. The ultimate achievement is to leave only one single peg remaining on the board.

Setup

1. Fill all the main holes on the triangular board with pegs, leaving exactly one hole empty to start the game (traditionally the very top hole or the center hole, but any hole works to vary the difficulty).
2. The extra row of holes along the bottom edge is a storage rack to hold the pegs you remove during play.

How to Play

• The Move: A move consists of picking up one peg, jumping it over an adjacent peg, and landing it into an empty hole directly on the other side.
• Direction: You can jump horizontally or diagonally along the white grid lines.
• Capturing: Every time you jump over a peg, that peg is "captured." Remove it from the main board and place it into the storage rack at the bottom.
• No Diagonal Slams: You cannot move a peg into an empty space without jumping over another peg, and you cannot jump over multiple pegs at once.

Ending the Game

The game ends when you are completely out of legal moves (no more pegs have an empty hole to jump into). Count how many pegs are left on the board to check your score:

• 1 Peg Left = Genius! 🏆
• 2 Pegs Left = Purdy Smart 💡
• 3 Pegs Left = Good Try 👍
• 4+ Pegs Left = Try Again 🔄
