This bracelet is designed as a sleek, minimal, and customizable accessory for 3D printing. The concept is simple: print the bracelet once, then use small leftover pieces of standard 1.75 mm filament as decorative color inserts. Simply push the filament into the holes, cut it flush on both sides, and create your own custom dot pattern without multi-color hardware. You can change the look anytime by swapping out the filament pieces for different colors.

Two Versions Included

To give you more options, the model comes in two distinct variations:

• The Dot Version: Features precision cutouts for the 1.75 mm filament inserts.
• The Plain Version: A completely clean, smooth, and solid surface without any holes for a timeless, minimalist look.

Fully Scalable Design (Plain Version)

The bracelet is fully scalable, allowing you to achieve the perfect fit for any wrist. To adjust the size, simply scale the model uniformly (X, Y, and Z axes together) in your slicer by a few percent.

Important Scaling Note: 

If you choose the Dot Version, scaling the model up or down will also slightly alter the 1.94 mm hole diameter. For minor adjustments (e.g., 2% to 5%), standard 1.75 mm filament will still fit perfectly. If you scale the model up significantly, you can use alternative materials like 2.0 mm or 2.85 mm filament, leather cords, or wires as inserts.

Important Fit Note

The insert holes are engineered with a precise diameter of 1.94 mm at 100% scale. This tolerance worked perfectly during tests with standard 1.75 mm PLA filament. However, depending on your specific printer calibration, extrusion multiplier, and filament brand, the final fit may vary slightly.

For best results:

• Use straight filament pieces (avoid heavily curved ends from the start of a spool)
• Push them into the holes carefully
• Cut both sides completely flush using a sharp flush cutter or side cutter
• Test the fit with a single piece of filament before preparing all inserts

Print Settings

Recommended settings for a durable and clean print:

• Layer height: 0.16 mm
• Wall loops: 5 (Highly recommended for strength around the insert holes)
• Infill: 30%
• Material: PLA or PLA Matte
• Supports: None
• Brim: Optional (depending on your bed adhesion)
• AMS: Not required

The bracelet is small and lightweight, but because it is a wearable item that experiences flexing, using 5 wall loops is crucial to ensure structural integrity around the cutouts.

Assembly Instructions

1. Choose your preferred version (with or without holes) and print the bracelet flat on the build plate.
2. For the Dot Version, cut small pieces of your chosen 1.75 mm filament.
3. Insert the filament pieces into the designated holes.
4. Cut both sides perfectly flush with a sharp side cutter.
5. Mix and match colors as you like.

Styling Tip: Use high-contrast colors for the strongest visual impact — for example, a matte black bracelet paired with white, beige, red, or metallic gold filament dots.
