This project was designed to create storage for floss bobbins found here [https://makerworld.com/en/models/2375899-number-window-floss-bobbin.](https://makerworld.com/en/models/2375899-number-window-floss-bobbin.) It contains several sizes of bins that conform to the gridfinity standard, all 7 units high, with a stacking lip. The box will hold a 4x4 grid of bins and uses 6 6mm x 3mm magnets to keep the cover closed and a piece of filament for the hinge.  The hinge pivots for the top are printed separately so that fits on the A1mini. 

Additional Materials:

• 6 - 6mm x 3mm magnets
• Glue (superglue works great)

Suggested Tools:

• Small mallet
• Pliers
• Side cutters
• Soldering Iron (optional)

Assembly Instructions:

• Attach the front and back to the base
  • Add glue to the front/back
  • Fit front/back to base
  • Turn upside down and use a small mallet to seat in place
• Attach hinge pivots
  • Cut a small length of filament a little longer than the back piece
  • Cut the tip of the filament at a 45-degree angle from 4 directions to make a point that is centred
  • Feed the filament through the holes in the back piece
  • Add the hinge pivots and continue feeding the filament through until it passes out the other side
  • Pliers may be necessary to feed the last little bit
  • Trim the filament or use a soldering iron to melt the ends and fix it in place
• Glue the top on
  • Ensure that there are bins in the box to support the top
  • Add the top and glue the two tabs in place
  • CA glue with accelerator makes this quick and easy
• Add magnets
  • Place all three magnets in the front part
  • They can be glued in, but should friction fit 
  • Place additional magnets on top of the magnets in the front part to ensure the correct orientation
  • Close the lid to press the magnets in
  • Again, they can be glued, but should friction fit
