🌲 A Note on Fit & Scaling

Because the IKEA IVAR system is made of natural pine wood, the exact thickness of the side beams can vary slightly due to manufacturing tolerances, humidity, or age.

• Test Print: It is highly recommended to print a single test hook first.
• Resizing: If the hook is too difficult to snap onto the wood, or if it sits a bit too loosely, simply scale the model up or down by 1% to 2% in your slicer software for the perfect fit.

• Material: PETG (Highly recommended for its perfect balance of flexibility and strength to snap onto the wood. The pictures show Bambu Lab Translucent Orange PETG, but  any brand of PETG should work perfectly).
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Layer Height: 0.20 mm (Standard Profile)
• Filament Usage: Only ~12g per hook!
• Print Time: ~25 minutes
• Supports: None needed. Print it on its side as oriented.
