The Story of Capt. Deepsea
Lost to the crushing blackness of the ocean trenches centuries ago, Captain Deepsea is a specter born of the abyss. Once a legendary explorer seeking forbidden treasures of the ancient deep, his ambition became his watery grave—and his eternal rebirth. Now fused with the very ocean bed, his armor is encrusted with living coral, and his gaze pierces through the pitch-black waters. He stands on a base of jagged reef and forgotten shipwrecks, a silent guardian of the deep sea's darkest secrets.
Print Settings & Model Info
- Height: 14 cm
- Layer Height: 0.16 mm
- Infill: 6% Gyroid
- Finishing: Hand-painted with acrylics (intentionally styled for an authentic, classic hand-crafted look that highlights the 3D-printed texture).
- Important Note: The base/pedestal is included as a separate file for easier printing and painting!
⚠️ CRITICAL PRINTING & POST-PROCESSING WARNING
- Support Structures: The supports are highly optimized but present in large numbers.
- Do NOT Downscale: It is highly recommended NOT to scale this model down. Fine, delicate elements like the feather and the intricate coral pieces will fail or break during post-processing.
- Patience is Key: Take your time when removing supports! Do NOT just tear them off by hand. Use a small flush cutter (side cutter) to carefully clip the support interfaces.
- Bed Adhesion: Ensure your build plate is completely cleaned and degreased before starting the print to guarantee perfect first-layer adhesion for the delicate support structures.
