Multi-use Steam Deck stand/mount. Can be used as a lap stand/couch stand if you are using the Steam Deck on its own or as a table-top stand if you’re playing with a controller. Height of Steam Deck Mount can be adjusted from approximately 6"-10", and Steam Deck can be adjusted for optimal viewing at any angle from horizontal to vertical.

The Steam Deck holder and Steam Deck holder mounting bracket are printed in PETG. The base, arm and hardware are all printed in PLA. You can try your luck printing everything in PLA, but early prototypes broke fairly easily when printed in PLA (the holder and bracket need some flexibility to get the Steam Deck in and out).   

All hardware can be printed and is included in the profile. If you want some stronger hardware, you can use two M8 bolts (1x35mm, 1x30mm).

This design has been tested with the standard Steam Deck LCD model, but according to the Steam website both LCD and OLED models have identical cases so the OLED models should be good as well.

Total Time Cost ≈ 6 hours (all plates total)

Assembly Instructions

1. Print all parts.

2.  Slide arm into base and secure at desired height with the longer screw and one nut. 

3. Snap Steam Deck holder mounting bracket into Steam Deck Holder. Slide the bottom in all the way first, then snap the top side in to join the two parts (see picture for details). 

4. You will need to push fairly hard to get the piece to snap in.

5. Attach Steam Deck holder/bracket to the top of the arm with the shorter screw and one nut. 

6. Finally attach Steam Deck to Steam Deck holder by placing bottom of Steam Deck into the holder first, then gently bringing the two top arms over the top of the deck to hold it in place. 

*note: The mount has two small circular bumps the fit into screw holes in the back of the Steam Deck and stop it from sliding around. Make sure to center the Steam Deck so that these bumps go where they are supposed to. Once the Steam Deck is attached it should fit snugly and not slide around.
