My son wanted a sword, so I decided to go the pixelated route!  On the 100% version, I printed it in several parts and used an aluminum rod for support.  I made the hole a little loose so that I could dial in the fit with masking tape. I glued it all after the final fit to make sure they didn't accidentally sling a part off while playing with it.

I used glow-in-the-dark filament for the blade and gems to make it really stand out. I didn't want to use too much of that, so on the large model, I made all of those parts separate to keep the switching time down.

I understand that a 3ft Minecraft sword isn't for all, so I scaled the profile down to 25% so that it's more accessible.
