Star Spangled Sam started as a simple idea after picking up my new H2C printer for a grand total of $0.92 thanks to MakerWorld gift cards. I wanted to create something fun, patriotic, colorful, and full of personality that really took advantage of multi-color printing.

The result was this goofy little desk buddy with dangling legs, a big smile, and plenty of red, white, and blue attitude.

Star Spangled Sam is designed to hang out wherever you need a smile — shelves, desks, workbenches, printers, monitor tops, and just about anywhere else that could use a little personality.

This current release is optimized as an AMS/multi-color version to really showcase the H2C setup. However, I just added a new NON-AMS version that will print in a little less than 2.5 hrs with 4 plates.

Designed to print clean and easy, Sam also works great as a simple single-color print with painted details or custom color combinations if you want to remix the look.

Whether you print him in classic Americana colors or create your own version, Star Spangled Sam is ready to kick his feet and hang out.

Assembly is simple, add a little glue to each eye and the mouth (curved side) and push onto the model. The .2mm tolerance should allow for easy install.
