Are you building a new wooden deck and want a perfect result? The key to a professional look is absolutely consistent and even spacing between the boards. This smart T-shaped spacer is designed precisely for this purpose, saving you significant time and measuring effort on the job site.

One Tool, Three Dimensions Forget improvised wedges or scraps of wood. This versatile tool combines the three most common spacing widths into one design. Simply rotate the spacer to the desired side:

4 mm (approx. 5/32" or 0.16") thinner arm

6 mm (approx. 1/4" or 0.24")

8 mm (approx. 5/16" or 0.31") thicker arm

Thanks to the T-shape, the spacer is easy to insert and remove, and it holds stably in place during work.

Tip for Efficient Workflow: For smooth installation, I recommend printing approximately 68 pieces. This allows you to set up the entire length of a board at once, secure it in place, and then comfortably do the screwing. The work goes much faster this way.

Recommended Print Settings:

These spacers will be subjected to pressure when clamping boards and rough handling on the construction site. Mechanical durability is key for a long lifespan.

Material: I strongly recommend PET-G or PC (Polycarbonate). They are tougher than PLA and better withstand high summer temperatures in the sun without softening or deforming.

Infill: For necessary stiffness, use a higher infill density, ideally at least 4060%.

Perimeters (Wall Loops): Consider increasing the number of perimeters to 34 for extra compressive strength.
