How to Play (The Rules)

The beauty of Story Dice is that there are no "wrong" answers—only stories waiting to be told. Here are the basic rules:

1. The Roll: Gather all 9 dice (or choose fewer for a shorter story) and roll them onto a flat surface.
2. The Starting Point: Take a look at the face-up icons. Pick one that catches your eye to start your story—often with the classic opening: "Once upon a time..."
3. Weave the Tale: Proceed to incorporate the other icons into your story in the order you choose. Connect the images logically or creatively—the crazier the connection, the better!
4. Keep it Flowing: If you are playing with others, you can take turns. The first player rolls and begins the story with one die, then the next player picks up the story, adding a new element from another die.
5. The Goal: The game ends when all the dice have been incorporated into your epic, funny, or mysterious tale!
