This is a 54mm spring-loaded coffee tamper, designed for people who enjoy proper espresso… but also enjoy building cool stuff themselves.

Originally designed for my Alicia coffee machine, but compatible with many other setups using a 54mm filter basket.

And yes, it actually works surprisingly well.

🛠️ Hardware needed:

Very simple assembly using:

• 1x countersunk screw M6x60mm
• 1x M6 nut
  ⚠️ Insert the nut during the print pause on the first plate (tamper section)
• 1x spring:
  • wire diameter: 1mm
  • spring diameter: 9.9mm
  • length: 70mm
