We live in a world where prices keep increasing. Since buying drinks in bulk at a discount is cheaper, I wanted to store them efficiently while taking up as little space as possible. The solution was a stackable rail system that lets you store bottles horizontally on top of each other as safely and securely as possible.

I tested it up to 14 rows before deciding it was solid enough, and it can likely handle even more. I printed mine in PLA, but PETG will give you extra strength. For taller stacks, I recommend placing them against a wall for added stability. It also works great for storing empty bottles while you accumulate enough to take them out. You can reuse the prints from filled bottles into empty bottles till you take them out and order a refill.

The model is fully customizable, so you can dial it in for any bottle diameter and overall your preferences.

I recommend printing a thin test piece first. Just set LAYER_THICKNESS to something small, like 1-2mm, to verify the diameter fits your bottles before committing to a full bulk print. It's not that filament heavy.

I recommend printing two prints without mirroring for your base row and stability. Place your bottles in the slots, then print mirrored prints to lock the bottles from above and place the next row. Stack and repeat. The V-shaped connectors on each tip lock the layers together and makes it a bit easier to stack.

A word of caution: this was designed and tested with plastic bottles (Coca-Cola Zero, 1.5L). If you plan to use it with heavy glass bottles, take extra care. Glass breaks, and a tall stack of wine bottles is a very different load than soda bottles. While it is most likely fine, I will not take responsibility for any risks you take. :)

The initial customized numbers are meant for 1.5L coca-cola zero zero bottles.
