Hello everyone, I am very excited to share with you my first model on probablyo ongoing series of fishing accesories, that make our life on the bank more comfortable. The idea was to aid in activities such us float or carp fishing, when you want to change baits or dismount a small fish from your hook, and be able to use two hand for the job. The holder is designed to hold the rod, with a dedicated space for the fishing reel. The mounting angle is matched in a way, that the rod is almost straight, so you will not tangle your fishing line during the procedure. I highly recomend printing it in PETG (in my case i used PETG-HF) for durability and water resistance, however since it is pretty solid inside, the PLA should work just fine. 

The internal diameter should fit most of the modern rods, unless you are hishing something very chunky 12 meter pole - but then it probaly is not a model for you XD.

REGARDING THE SUPPORTS - I printed my model on P2S, only supporting the top end of the honeycomb pattern. Since the rest is at a 60 degree angle, my printer handled everything just fine. There is also need to support the adapter for the mounting system.
