What i did create was the base for it. These types of cubes tend to sag over time (i made one from Oak 2x2s and it sagged) So i wanted a base to put it on. I create also used a D1 mine ESP8266 for the LEDs. So the base has a mount for that and a hole in the side for easy USB connection.

The cube doesn't really need to be glued in as it's a squeeze fit. Pull the corners apart slightly to get into the holes and it springs back and holds itself.
