I tried several ways, and finally got a good result by downloading a ‘SpaceX’ font, and then putting each letter on the fuselage, selecting ‘Surround projection by character’ to get it to wrap around the round surface. 

It takes the place of two of the ‘tank’ objects for that print. Will need to have AMS to print the lettering in blue as in the pictures.
