CyberJapandi Vase
Where Japandi calm meets the cyberpunk grid.
This vase is a quiet conversation between two worlds. From the foot up, four organic stones stack into a slender teardrop — the warm restraint of Japandi minimalism. Forty-eight fine ribs spiral around the body, twisting forty degrees from base to neck like a slow exhale. And just below the rim, the surface breaks: the flowing ribs sharpen into faceted, digital lines — a glitch in the calm, framed by two crisp panel grooves. It's the moment where the analog gives way to the neon.
What you get
- Statement size. 230 × 111 mm — it owns the shelf.
- Watertight. 3 mm walls, 5 mm base. Holds fresh flowers, dried pampas, or just light.
- Dynamic from every angle. A spiral that never stops moving — there is no "boring side."
- A signature. A discreet Cycho maker's mark engraved into the base.
Print it without thinking twice
- No supports. Steepest overhang sits at 43° — fully self-supporting.
- No babysitting. Designed and tested on Bambu Lab (P-series). Drops straight into your slicer.
- Filament friendly. PLA, PETG, silk, satin — the spiral catches light beautifully in any of them. Silk or satin PLA brings out the helical ribbing best.
- Recommended settings: 0.2 mm layer height, 3 walls, 15 % infill, default speeds. Print time ~8–10 hours.
Why I made it
I wanted something that felt grounded and futuristic at the same time — a piece that fits on a quiet Scandinavian shelf, but rewards a closer look with a small surprise. If you print this one, send me a photo. I'd love to see where it lives.
— Cycho
