Descripción
Meet StackRack.
StackRack is a parametric rack storage system with endless possible combinations and use cases. It's fully customizable, stackable, and multiple stacks can be connected together using Rack Links. Works great for all sorts of things around the house, office, garage or printing stations: fridge storage, spice containers, cat food, Gridfinity setups, books, desk organizers, board games, filament boxes, and more.
Features
- Fully customizable: Width, depth, height, wall thickness, floor thickness, and more can all be customized using the MakerWorld customizer (or by downloading the included Fusion files). How strong or lightweight it is is totally up to you.
- 3 Rack Variations: Pattern, Solid, and Gridfinity options are available
- 3 Top Variations: Top off your rack with one of three Top pieces: Pattern, Solid, or Gridfinity
- Stackable: All rack types seamlessly stack on each other, and all Top pieces can be used with any rack type (assuming all pieces have the same width, depth, floor thickness, etc.)
- Linkable: Use Rack Links to connect multiple stacks side by side to keep things sturdy and neat
Connecting racks with Rack Link
- If you plan on connecting racks with the Rack Link and want different height racks, I recommend sticking with multiples of 2 for the height so you have the most options for how to arrange and connect the rack pieces
- For example: two stacked 40mm height racks will connect perfectly to a 80mm rack, or three stacked 50mm racks will connect to one 150mm rack
- Avoid using brittle filaments like PLA Matte (or even some PETG’s I tried) for the Rack Link piece or it may snap. Regular PLA has worked great for me and it bends just enough without snapping.
- The size of the Rack Link is dictated by your WallThickness, so make sure you enter the same value there that you used for your racks
- There's also a LinkLengthAdjustment parameter that can be used to fine tune the length of the Rack Link if needed

Tips
- Width/Depth/Height parameters controls the outer dimensions of the rack, not the inner storage space
- Printing is pretty straightforward. No supports or special settings are required for any pieces
- Need a really big rack? Use your slicer's Cut feature to cut your rack into pieces that will fit on your plate. Select the option to use a connector (eg. dowels) and glue everything together once printed.
StackRack also works great with my other generically-named system GridCrate to create a portable Gridfinity setup that also has a comfy rack to come home to
