For the 83rd edition of "The Honest Shelf," I wanted to create a piece that symbolizes connection and harmony. While my previous designs often focused on a single character, DoubleBeat features a friendly companion holding two hearts. It’s an indirect nod to that special bond between two people, or simply a reminder to love yourself twice as much today.
I spent several iterations making sure the hearts sit perfectly in the hands, keeping the aesthetic clean and "Japandi."
