Thanks to all your feedback on the first version, here is the improved V2 of my Nintendo Switch / Switch OLED travel case!

This new version keeps everything people loved about the original slim case, while introducing two major upgrades that make it stronger, easier to assemble, and more reliable for everyday transport.

✨ What’s new in V2?

🔧 No more screws required

The entire case is now fully clip-assembled.

That means:

• No need to buy specific screws anymore
• Accessible to everyone — just print and assemble
• Significantly reduced risk of hinge breakage
• Easier maintenance and part replacement
• You can now swap lids or closure clips whenever you want for custom designs and color combinations

This makes the case much more modular and durable over time.

💾 Completely redesigned cartridge retention system

The game slots inside the lid have been fully reworked.

The previous design could, over time, slightly deform the plastic retention tabs, which could reduce cartridge holding strength.

The new system avoids permanent plastic stress, which means:

• Better long-term retention
• No cartridge loosening during transport
• More reliable and secure storage for your games

Your cartridges now stay firmly in place, even after repeated use.

🛠️ Assembly

Assembly is simple and tool-free:

1. Insert the small console locking insert into the dedicated slot in the base
2. Attach the lid by inserting it at an angle
3. Progressively clip it into place
4. Insert the two closure clips into the lid

Done — your case is ready to use.

🎨 Multiple designs available

Like the original model, many lid designs are available so you can customize your case to match your style.

Mix colors, swap lids, replace clips, and build your own perfect combination.

📦 XXL Version Included

I also included an XXL base version for those who want to carry more accessories.

It follows the same concept as my XXL travel box, while keeping compatibility with this new screwless modular system.

Perfect if you need extra storage while keeping the same protective design.
