A compact angled desktop stand for small audio switches/interfaces with integrated cable management and a clean minimal design.

I originally created this because my audio switch was always lying loose on the desk with cables everywhere. The goal was to build something compact, functional and visually clean that feels more like a real desktop audio device than just a simple holder.

This V2 version is heavily optimized after several prototype iterations:

• more compact overall footprint
• improved cable clearance
• redesigned removable cover (used a carbon fibre 3D Effect Plate for the cover)
• better fitting tolerances
• rounded cutouts for a cleaner look
• reduced top opening for improved rigidity and aesthetics
• fits perfect on 2x3 gridfinity

Printing:

• Printed successfully in Matte PLA
• 0.2 mm layer height
• Textured build plate recommended for the carbon-fiber-like surface finish shown in the photos

The top cover uses small corner alignment tabs instead of a full inner frame. This greatly improves fitment and reduces friction during assembly.

Everything was designed and tested with real-world cable routing and connector clearance in mind.
