This plate features the Chuul, a horrifying crustacean-like horror created to serve ancient and unknowable masters. Dwelling in deep waters and flooded ruins, chuuls stalk their prey with eerie patience before striking with crushing claws and paralysing tentacles.

🤔 Why These Meeples Exist

I’ve been slowly working through the Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual, redesigning creatures as clean, printable meeple silhouettes. The goal is simple: create monsters that are easy to print, easy to store, and instantly recognizable on the table. Traditional minis look amazing, but they take up a lot of space and often require supports, painting, and careful storage. These meeple monsters give you a compact, support-free alternative that still captures the identity of each creature while fitting neatly into a small box or organiser.

This has now evolved into side quests in player character and terrain too!
