This is my first go at making a dz2 orbital, and I hope to make the rest of the d orbitals at some point in the near future. I printed this for myself after my Symmetry and group theory final exam regarding pt2(pop)4 and its interesting behavior in the excited state as it pertains to removing electrons from the antibonding dz2 orbital to a bonding 6pz orbital. Perhaps you too can print this as a small award to yourself for your efforts in academy.

I hand painted the white on the XYZ components as I lack any sort of AMS, and each part was printed individually (As opposed to the attached 3MF where they are all on one plate and in one color). I will also admit, that 0.6mm nozzle was chosen for expedience (because I just couldn't wait to have it on my desk) and a 0.4mm nozzle and some patience would go a long way in the quality of the final print. All that said, I'm still very happy with how it turned out and Its been an excellent desk ornament.
