Threaded Standoff Notes
The threaded-style standoff holes are optimized for FDM printing and self-tapping screws.
Suggested starting sizes:
- M3 self-tapping: ~2.6–2.8 mm
- M3 clearance: ~3.2–3.4 mm
- Heat-set inserts: size according to insert manufacturer specs
Because the universe enjoys chaos, tiny printer tolerances, filament swelling, and elephant foot effects may require slight tuning depending on your machine and material.
