This is a inch female-to-female threaded coupling, designed as a print-in-place model. It allows you to connect two '' male threaded fittings.

After printing, pull the coupling apart to expose the internal threads, then insert the gaskets.

ASA is recommended for its UV resistance and because it can be vapor smoothed with acetone.

To ensure a watertight seal, I printed this with 100% infill and vapor smoothed the gasket contact surfaces. The model is designed so that all gasket interfaces are printed flat.

A simple wrench is included to help tighten the coupling by hand.

The second picture shows the couplings after 2 years of use.
