This 3D-printable attachment transforms your SwitchBot Bot into a visual mail alert system.

How it works: When the SwitchBot Contact Sensor (mounted on your mailbox) detects that the door has been opened, it triggers the SwitchBot Bot to flip this indicator flag. It’s a perfect way to get a glanceable notification inside your home the moment the mail carrier drops off your delivery.

Assembly & Installation

1. Print the parts: No supports are required.
2. Replace the Bot Arm: Remove the original arm from your SwitchBot Bot and attach the 3D-printed flag part instead.

3. Apply double-sided tape here and attach the cover.

4. Important App Settings:
   • Open the SwitchBot App and go to Bot settings.
   • Set the Mode to "Switch Mode".
   • Enable "Inverse On/Off direction".

Automation Settings

1. Mail Arrival (Raise the Flag):

• Trigger: SwitchBot Contact Sensor (Mailbox) - "Opened"
• Action: SwitchBot Bot - "Turn On"

2. Reset (Lower the Flag):

• Trigger: Press the button on the Contact Sensor.
• Action: SwitchBot Bot - "Turn Off"
