Summary

Hi everyone, I’m excited to start sharing some of the designs I’ve been working on over the past two years, starting with this one. This is an adjustable modular pencil grip that I created to help people with disabilities. It supports a wide range of writing positions, including more niche grip styles.

The pictures show the steps to assemble the design.

If you have any suggestions for grip sizes, feel free to message me. The current grips range from 14–21 mm in diameter. I also have more designs coming soon, including 4-finger and silicone-lined grips, as well as different styles that fit between the fingers and can hold markers.

Soldering Iron

Use a 0.16 mm layer height for printing. I recommend using a minimum of 50% infill for the adjustable arm and bottom body to improve strength and durability. You’ll need to adjust the orientation of the parts in your slicer so they are positioned correctly for printing without supports.
