Real Front Overlap

The frame opening is smaller than the picture size, so the front frame overlaps the picture edge and holds it against the back plate.

This is controlled by the picture overlap setting.

Smaller overlap shows more of the picture. Larger overlap gives a stronger hold.

Matching Back Plate

The back plate matches the outside shape of the frame and holds the picture from behind.

It also has a shallow picture recess so the photo or artwork sits centered instead of sliding around like it has somewhere better to be.

Alignment Pegs

The back plate has four corner pegs that line up with matching holes in the frame.

The sockets include adjustable tolerance, with 0.2 mm as the default starting point.

This helps the frame and back plate line up cleanly during assembly.

Hidden Rear Keyhole

The keyhole mount is built into the back plate and cut from the rear only.

That means it does not show through the front of the frame.

You can turn the keyhole on or off and choose the mount side.

Assembly Notes

Place the picture into the back plate recess, then press the frame and back plate together using the four alignment pegs.

Printer tolerances vary, so adjust peg tolerance or back plate clearance if your fit is too tight or too loose.

The default 0.2 mm peg tolerance is a good starting point for most tuned printers.
