With this fully custom-coded generator, you can make your own 3D printed Milwaukee-style screw-top containers for your tools, hardware, shop storage, or personal projects, just like the ones in the photos. You can create any size you'd like using this tool! Take a look at the examples below and in the listing images.

To Customize!

1. click on the green “CUSTOMIZE” button found in the model listing

   

2. Once you see the popup just click on the green “CUSTOMIZE” button again 

   

    

3.  From there you will be put into Bambus “Parametric Model Maker” and on the left you will see the following options:

    

   CUSTOMIZER

   1. Parameters
      • Model to show - choose what is displayed/exported: both parts, body only, lid only, assembled preview, or cutaway preview (to check fit)
      • Inside Diameter - the usable inside width of the container
      • Inside Height - the usable inside height of the container
      • Wall Thickness mm - thickness of the container walls and floor
      • Top ledge Width mm - controls the upper rim/ledge thickness where the lid sits flush with the body
      • Thread Tolerance mm -  clearance between the lid and body threads; increase if the lid is too tight, decrease if it feels too loose
      • Lid grip Style - choose ribbed, knurled, or smooth texture on the lid edge
      • Container grip style - turns the knurled texture on or off for the container body
      • knurl top flatness - controls how flat or pointy the knurl texture is; higher values make flatter knurl peaks
      • lid logo - turns the lid logo on or off
      • container color - color used for the lid and container body
      • logo color - color used for the lid logo
      • preview quality - controls model smoothness in preview/export; use Fast while editing and High for final export if needed

Things To Keep In Mind

Default values: The Default settings are what I recommend however feel free to play around with them if you want a different size or thickness, it's completely up to you!
